This initial meeting allows us to determine if we are the right fit to work together while creating alignment early in the process — so the experience feels collaborative, organized, and exciting from the very beginning.
Our goal is to fully understand the scope of your project and establish a strong foundation before moving into planning and budgeting.
A Well-Built Home Starts With A Well-Built Budget
If after our initial consultation we determine we’re the right fit to work together, the next phase is developing a detailed and transparent project budget.
At ProLux Homes, we understand the importance of creating a realistic and well-established budget from the very beginning. While some builders may provide quick estimates or rushed proposals, those numbers often miss important details that can later lead to unexpected costs, frustration, and delays.
Our approach is different.
During our initial meetings, we take the time to fully understand the exact scope of the project — including design goals, finishes, features, expectations, and overall vision. From there, our team builds a detailed budget specifically tailored to the home you want to create.
Depending on the size and complexity of the project, this process typically takes anywhere from 2–4 weeks. We do not rush this stage.
Our team sends pricing requests through our trusted network of subcontractors and suppliers to gather real numbers and accurate pricing before presenting a finalized budget. We work hard to ensure the pricing we provide is current and valid for at least 30 days whenever possible.
While material pricing can fluctuate throughout the construction industry, we believe in being transparent about those changes upfront — so our clients can make informed decisions with confidence.
